I earned my Mathematics Education PhD from Illinois State University. Currently, I am a Math Interventionist for grades K-4. I live in Illinois with my husband and children.

My research interests are Geometry and Spatial Reasoning, Early Number Sense, and Cognitive Development.

I love helping teachers understand different ways of doing mathematics. Sometimes students will use strategies that are not shown in textbooks and are valid strategies.
